Museo Emilio Bacardí

Interesting
Opened by Santiago's first republican mayor, Emilio Bacardí, this museum evokes the history of the province in three sections (history, Fine Arts, and archaeology). The varied collections give the impression of an Aladdin's cave, with exhibits such as instruments of torture from the days of slavery, fine works of art, mummies and Jivaro shrunken heads all on display.
