Casa de Tostado - Museum of the 19C Dominican family

Recommended
Casa de Tostado, a handsome aristocratic home, was built in 1503. The twin window overlooking Calle Padre Billini is not only unique in Santo Domingo but in the whole of America. The recreated interior reproduces the home of a 19C nobleman, with furniture, decorative objects, books, works of art and tableware... Afterwards, cross over a delightful patio with a fountain adorned with mosaics from Seville, a well and tropical plants.
