Sillustani

Interesting

This fascinating testimonial of the funeral rites of the Collas, one of the many pre-Incan (9C-15C) civilisations, ranging from mummies, accompanied with dishes and objects, all of which in amazing towers (orchullpas ) to flawlessly assembled stones, was found at Sillustani. Located 30km to the northwest of Puno on the shores of Lake Umayo, the site stands in beautiful natural landscape.
