Seat of the Styrian Diet from the 16C, the Landhaus is one of Graz's finest Renaissance palaces. The main façade, with its pretty, round-arched windows and elegant doorway, secretes the distinctly Italianate elegance of its three-storey arcaded courtyard, its stairwells and its loggias. Its old well is crowned by a finely worked bronze dais. This refined, enchanting setting is a venue for concerts and theatre performances in summer.
