Government Building of Vienna

The Government Building (Regierungsgebäude), not far from the Danube Canal, was once the War Ministry and is the last in of the Historical-style palaces along the Ringstrasse. Completed in 1912, this huge building with a heavy, 250m-long façade is flanked by a bronze eagle with a 16m wing span.
