Belgian Museum of Natural Sciences

Highly recommended
The Dinosaur Gallery displays more than 30 skeletons laid out in its 3 000m2 space: T Rex, Stegosaurus and Diplodocus are here, but the stars of the show are the original fossils of the Bernissart Iguanodons. Other rooms focus on humankind's evolution, the Jurassic and Cretaceous Seaways, animals of the North and South Poles, shells, insects and minerals. The Whale Hall exhibits the skeleton of a blue whale and the Copains Cachés exhibition presents animals living in urban areas.
