Église St-Charles-Borromée

Interesting
This church was built by the Jesuits Aguillon and Huyssens from 1615 to 1621. Initially named after St Ignatius, it became the Church of St Charles Borromeus. Its Baroque façade generally follows three Classical styles. At the back, adjacent to the apse, is the bell tower, also Baroque. The interior of the church is remarkable. The building, with its barrel vault, has high, well-lit galleries over the nave. Numerous works of art.
