Fashion Museum (MoMU)
In the heart of this trendy district of young Belgian designers, the museum is housed in a late-19C building that has been pleasantly remodelled by architect Marie-José van Hee. The theme-based exhibitions are regularly revised, allowing visitors to see historical pieces (costumes, lace, accessories, fabrics) and contemporary pieces, and to follow fashion's evolution down the years. The building also houses the Flanders Fashion Institute and the Fashion Department of the Academy of Fine Arts.
