This 12C Romanesque keep situated near the church was turned into a patrician residence in the 16C, which differentiates it from Ath's Burbant Tower, the military appearance of which still prevails. The small Tapestry Museum inside is a reminder that Enghien once had major tapestry workshops (15C-18C). Note the fine series of five tapestries, Greenery with Children's Games (16C).
