Bastogne

Bastogne
The Essential
Located on the Ardennes plateau, at an altitude of 515m, Bastogne is a former stronghold, and renowned for its excellent ham (jambon d'Ardenne) and its walnuts. Nowadays, though, the main reason visitors come to this trading town is that it remains a symbol of the terrible combats of the Battle of the Bulge. And for cyclists, the Liège-Bastogne-Liège is one of the most famous races in the world.
