St-Hubert is an attractive little tourist town sited in the heart of the sprawling forests of the Ardennes. It is named after the patron saint of hunters and foresters, the two ancestral trades in this game region. The town is the birthplace of the painter Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759-1840), known as the "Raphael of Flowers".
