Wellington Museum

This museum, housed in the old inn used by Wellington as his headquarters, evokes the roles of the nations involved in the conflict, through documents, engravings, weapons and authentic mementoes. Wellington's room houses the table on which the Allied victory declaration was drafted. One room is dedicated to the battle, another to the Waterloo connection. British veterans of the battle were offered plots of land in the colonies, which they named Waterloo.
