St. Domnius Cathedral

Highly recommended
St Domnius Cathedral stands on the ruins of the old octagonal Diocletian mausoleum (transformed into a church in the 7C). The heavy oak door is just one of the jewels of its medieval architecture (1214). The splendours continue inside, the highlight of which is the chancel and its exquisitely sculpted wooden stalls. Don't forget to admire the view from the steeple (57m).
