This delightful small square, full of café terraces in the summer, is lined with palaces and arcaded houses. Take the time to admire Sermage palace (corner of Bakaceva). Built in the 17C, it owes its handsome two-tone Rococo façade to the Sermage family who bought it in 1759. The courtyard with gallery and stairs leads to the interesting Old Masters' Gallery. Also look out for the watchtower, Renaissance style gate, built in the first half of the 16C.
