Designmuseum Danmark

Recommended
Created in 1890, the Danish Design Museum is housed in a superb rococo building in Copenhagen, formerly a hospital designed by Eigtved. The museum charts the history of design from a Danish perspective, from Art nouveau to the present day. Exhibits include work by cult designers and some very rare pieces. Also worthy of note are the sections devoted to European porcelain and textile creation. The remarkable "Danish Design Now" exhibition will run until 2021.
