Moesgård Museum

Highly recommended

Since 2015, the museum has been housed in this building with a planted roof designed by architect Henning Larsen to look half-buried. It is dedicated to Danish prehistory from the Stone Age to Viking times and to ethnography. You can see the Graubelle Man, who was found in a peat bog near the village of Graubelle and who is thought to have been a human sacrifice to a pagan god. The Iron Age weapons and Bronze Age funeral vestiges are also remarkable.
