Its current appearance dating from the late 18C, this fine Baroque country house with a two-tone façade stands in extensive parkland. This is a pleasant spot for walks, especially by its lake where a folly stands on piles. Formerly home to the Von der Pahlen family, the house is worth a visit. Furnished throughout, it gives a feel of the "country-house" lifestyle that prevailed in 19C Estonia. The former stables house the Lahemaa National Park information centre.
