Langinkoski Imperial Fishing Pavilio

The Langinkoski Imperial Fishing Lodge is a two-storey log cabin that was built deep in a woodland park in 1889 for Tsar Alexander III, Grand Duke of Finland. Along with his Danish-born wife, Empress Maria Feodorovna, the Tsar was won over by the simple life and salmon fishing in the Langinkoski rapids. The lodge has been turned into a museum and is furnished with the original imperial pieces.
