Gösta Serlachiuksen taidemuseo

This important collection of artworks, including masterpieces from the Golden Age of Finnish art, belonged to a leading figure in the paper industry, Gösta Serlachius (1876-1942). It is on show in the Joenniemi manor house, designed in 1935 by Jarl Eklund (1876-1962), and in a huge villa that was inaugurated in 2014. The magnificent grounds were designed by Dane Paul Olsson. A life-size statue of an elk by Jussi Mäntynen (1886-1967) stands near the parking area.
