Ainola: the house of Sibelius

Recommended
It was at Ainola that composer Jean Sibelius spent his life from 1904. The house, built entirely out of wood, nestles in a verdant setting that would have been a source of inspiration to the musician. It is open to visitors in summer, allowing a glimpse into the life of Sibelius and his family. He and his wife are buried in the garden.
