Roesselmann fountain

The work of famous Colmar sculptor Bartholdi in 1888, the fountain celebrates one of the city's heroes, Provost Jean Roesselmann, after whom it is named. The latter died in the late-13C defending Colmar against the troops of the bishop of Strasbourg.
