Parc de Wesserling - Écomusée Textile
The former royal works for the production of printed fabric of Wesserling has been fully restored, and now comprises a textile eco-museum, four gardens with rare plants and the scene of the Garden Festival in summertime, a farmhouse with animals used in the textile industry and a footpath leading through the grounds. As well as the history of the site and its different owners, the museum expands upon the history of cotton and the production of Indienne fabric. Demonstrations show you how the weaving and spinning machinery works.
