Interesting
Beynac is built in terraces around one of the loveliest cliffs skirting the River Dordogne, which reflects the golden stone of its houses. Presided over by the imposing Château de Beynac, this village was also a film location, for the French comedy The Visitors II. Contemplating the fine, elaborate 15C-17C houses, you can imagine Beynac's past prosperity, when the port was its main resource. At the end of the street, rue Tibal Lo Garrel, drink in the panoramic view of the Dordogne Valley.
