Vesunna, Gallo-Roman site / museum

Highly recommended
Vesunna, the Gallo-Roman museum in Périgueux, was designed by Jean Nouvel to house the remains of a magnificent Gallo-Roman house (4 000m2) that can be viewed from its walkways. A model presents the layout of the city of Vesunna in the 2C and allows you to situate the residence (the 1C domus was extended in the middle of the 2C). The complex is enhanced by the display of wall paintings, objects from everyday life and jewellery.
