Sardy gardens

Betty and Bertie Imbs created these gardens in the 1950s around the property they had recently purchased. Taking their inspiration from England and Italy, the gardens (now managed by their son) are home to colourful rockeries and flowerbeds, a scent courtyard (sage, lemon trees, camphor etc) and an orchard. From the trees behind the gardens, enjoy a beautiful perspective of the large pond embellished with water lilies.
