The romantic ruins of the 13C Château de Rauzan, bear witness to the ravages of the Hundred Year Franco-English war. Some of the building's fine features have been preserved, such as a surrounding wall with merlons, the noble living quarters (14C-15C) with mullioned windows and a late-15C main tower with splendid palm vaulting. During your visit, climb to the top of the 30m/98ft-high round keep for a fine view of the countryside.
