Pau fine arts museum

Interesting
Pau's fine arts museum has been designed in a manner that sees works by leading names in the fields of painting and sculpture standing side by side with those by lesser-known local artists to create an intriguing mix of old and contemporary works enhanced by an aesthetic, theme-based layout. Here you can admire Italian, Flemish, Spanish, French and English paintings from the 15C-20C, as well as contemporary pieces and canvases by Eugène Devéria and his pupil, Victor Galos, both of whom are regionalist artists.
