Interesting
The historic quarter of Salies has preserved some delightful houses from the 16C-18C which radiate around Place du Bayaà, built in 1868 above the basin from where saltwater was once drawn from the spring. The Saleys flows lazily through it, with a string of Béarn-style brown roofs with curved eaves reflected in its waters on either side of the Pont de la Lune. It's impossible to visit the region without stopping in this small but charming spa town.
