Amboise Fountain

Interesting
The fountain owes its name to Jacques d'Amboise, Bishop of Clermont, who had it built in 1515; it is a fine Renaissance work hewn from volvanic rock... from Volvic! At the top, a mythical "wild man" carries the Amboise coat of arms.
