Saint-Lô Equestrian Centre - National Stud Farm

Interesting
Since 1930, the national stud farm of St Lô, initially created by Napoleon to train military horses, now specialises in race horses, in particular the Normandy cob, the French saddle horse and trotters. There are eight stable blocks around the central courtyard, which house some 40 stallions from seven different breeds or types.
