St Michel Priory Church, Crouttes

The origins of this priory, part of which is now a bed and breakfast property, date back to the 10C and the gift of a fiefdom from the Lord of Crouettes to the abbey of Jumièges. Don't miss the handsome 13C tithe barn, now used as a venue for exhibitions, summer schools and concerts, or the 18C priory lodgings. Admire the apple press and old bread oven, before enjoying a relaxing stroll through the garden, with its roses, medicinal plants, pond and orchard.
