Gracious and discreet, Dinan was built on the steep sides of a plateau above the Rance, on the banks of which its pretty little marina lies. From afar, its castle, surrounded by ramparts, overlooks and protects the old town, where half-timbered houses and granite buildings stand harmoniously side by side in a maze of little streets. A pleasant journey back in time.
