Musée du Vieux Brest (Tour Tanguy) -- Museum of Old Brest (Tanguy Tower)

Opposite the castle, on the other bank of the Penfeld, this tower dominates the arsenal. This ancient walled town of Quilbignon was built in the 14C and today houses the Musée du Vieux Brest. This museum is dedicated to the city as it was in bygone days, of which almost nothing remains since the Second World War: the collection includes coats of arms, maps of the town, dioramas and scale models.
