Parc Naturel Régional d'Armorique

Created in 1969, this park includes 39 villages and covers an area of 112 000 hectares divided into four sections: the Arrée mountains, the Crozon peninsula, the Aulne estuary and the islands of the Iroise sea. Several exhibition centres are open to the public, including the Ecomusée des Monts d'Arrée in Commana, the Musée des Phares et Balises (Lighthouse and Beacon Museum) in Ouessant, the Maison des Minéraux in Crozon, and the Musée du Loup (Wolf Museum) in Le Cloître-St-Thégonnec.
