Dijon Botanical Garden

Interesting
Founded in 1773, the former Jardin de l'Arquebuse, which has since become the Botanical Garden, derives its name from the company of soldiers (Arquebusiers) once quartered on this site. The flora of Burgundy is the central theme of the garden, which has around 4 000 plant species and flower beds accessed by shaded pathways. In the west of the garden, the arboretum boasts a number of remarkable exotic species.
