Sens Museum, Treasure and Palais Synodal

Interesting
This group of museums is set in the old buildings of the old archbishopric and synodal palace with its beautiful shiny tiles restored by Viollet-le-Duc. The wings named Francis I and Henry II are dedicated to the history of Sens and the Sens people (interesting Gallo-Roman relics). The cathedral treasury is one of the richest in France. It houses a magnificent collection of textiles and religious clothes, ivory objects and pieces of silverware.
