Dole Pasteur Museum - Louis Pasteur's birthplace

The museum, housed in a workshop-cum-living quarters, contains a number of documents on the life and research work of Louis Pasteur, whose discoveries revolutionised the food industry, medicine and surgery. Visitors can also see the tanner's workshop of his father, Jean-Joseph, and his leather-dressing workshop. A visit to the Institut Pasteur in Paris makes a good follow-up to your visit here.
