Clères Park - Zoological and Botanical Park
Founded in 1920, Clères zoological park spreads over 13ha/32 acres. Rivers, lawns, copses and trees are home to 1 500 species of birds and mammals. Visitors bump into pink flamingos, ducks and exotic geese in the garden, then, in the park itself, antelopes, kangaroos, gibbons, deer, cranes... wandering about in semi-freedom. More than 120 different species live and nest around the lake. The aviaries provide shelter to some rare and endangered birds.
