Pont-Marie

Interesting
Architect Christophe Marie completed construction of the bridge in 1635, but it was partly rebuilt in 1658 and then again in the 19C. It is the oldest bridge in Paris after the Pont-Neuf and, because of its simplicity, perhaps one of its most beautiful. Note the stunning façades of the private mansions along Quai de Bourbon and Quai d'Anjou on either side of the bridge.
