Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace du Bourget
Housed in the former air terminal of Le Bourget, this museum covers some 125 000m2. The Grande Galerie tackles the history of aviation, from the hot air balloons of the 18C to the military aircraft of the First World War, while aeronautical advances are charted chronologically in the different halls. The car park is lined with the fruits of French technology at its best: a Mirage, a Caravelle and even an Ariane 5 rocket. Naturally, the Concorde remains one of the stars of the place.
