Musée jardin Maurice-Denis

Interesting
Maurice Denis, who was a member of Nabis bought the priory in 1915. Paintings, stained-glass windows and public notices illustrate the theories of the Nabis, a group founded in 1888 by Paul Sérusier. Other Nabis members are also exhibited here - Bonnard, Vuillard, Denis, Sérusier, Vallotton and Verkade. You will also see works by the Pont-Aven and Pouldu Groups (Gauguin, Emile Bernard...) and works by Toulouse-Lautrec, Anquetin and Lalique. The chapel was decorated by Maurice Denis.
