Esplanade

The successfully renovated Charles-de-Gaulle esplanade is now home to a real urban garden planted with more than 130 different species. In its centre, the Pradier fountain, made in 1848 by James Pradier, represents the city in the form of an Ancient goddess. The square is lined on one side by the columns of the Palais de Justice (law courts) and café terraces and opens onto the smart Avenue Feuchères which leads towards the station.
