Hôtel de ville
Built in 1755, Nancy town hall is decorated with the coats of arms of Stanislas Leszczynski: an eagle for Poland, a horseman for Lithuania and a buffalo for the family. It contains a magnificent staircase with an ornate bannister by Jean Lamour. A number of frescoes by Girardet to the glory of Stanislas can be seen in the salon carré, nicknamed "The Academy".
