Saint-Mihiel
The Essential
Interesting
All roads do not lead to Saint-Mihiel, but the small city attracts so many visitors from so many different places that it would have been preferable if they did. Visitors can go on river cruises on the Meuse, go backpacking to the Lorraine regional nature reserve, pause for a minute of silence at the First World War battlefields, discover the vast Benedictine library or admire the works of sculptor Ligier Richier, a famous local artist.
