The work of three architects, Shigeru Ban from Japan, Jean de Gastines from Paris and Philip Gumuchdjian from London, the Pompidou-Metz Centre is home to Paris's modern art museum and is as fascinating for its exterior as it is for its collections. Since 2010, the museum has showcased the best of modern and contemporary art, including temporary exhibitions supplied by the 58,000 works of art stored at the National Museum of Modern Art which represent the full range of creative arts.
