At the top of the hill which extends as far as the middle of the city, the castle ruins are surrounded by pleasant medieval gardens. Perched on the castle's rocky spur, the Tour Chinoise built in 1804 was inspired by Chinese architecture which was very popular at the time. This delightful wooded park covers an area of 26 hectares and is also home to a mini zoo and children's playground.
