Mont-Lénigo

First, this small mound was a ballast depot, on which trees were planted in 1761. From here, you can see views of Le Tréhic harbour and jetty (850m/2,789ft long) and Pen Bron dyke. A monument sculpted by René Paris in 1913 is a reminder of the feat performed by a helmsman called Hervé Rielle, who saved 22 vessels of the French Navy after the La Hougue disaster in 1692.
