Balcons de la Mescla
These balconies tower 250m/820ft above the spot where the water of the Verdon River mingles with its tributary, the Artuby. In this wild, grandiose setting, the river's pure water rushes past a narrow, razor-edged ridge. Note the depth of the north-south facing gorges upstream, which are between 400-500m/1,300-1,600ft in places. The best view is definitely from the upper belvedere.
