Eden-Roc Hotel

The Grand Hôtel du Cap was first opened on a promontory of Cap d'Antibes in 1870 with a sumptuous party thrown by the Russian princes. An annexe, the Eden-Roc, was opened in 1914 and boasted something completely new: a private beach. This paved the way for a new era of summer holidays on the French Riviera.
