This huge 15ha field of ruins reveals the daily life of the inhabitants of ancient Vasio. The unobstructed remains are those of the outer quarters of the Gallo-Roman city, and include different types of housing. Its centre (forum and outskirts) is part of the modern town of Vaison. The digs undertaken in the Villasse district and around Puymin Hill have uncovered a shopping area and a sumptuous domus (Paon Villa).
